What is Chebe powder?
Chebe powder, originating from Chad in Africa, is a blend of cherry seeds, cloves, lavender crotons, stone scent, and resin tree sap. This fine brown powder has been traditionally used by women in Chad to maintain long, natural hair. Its popularity has spread, with many curly-haired individuals using it to aid hair growth and improve dryness and damage.
How to use
150G | Suggested Use Mix a tablespoon (+/- 10g) of the chébé powder with your favorite hair oil (100 ml)and cream (100 gram). Apply to wet hair in sections. Braid hair into a few braids. Let sit for at least a few hours. Can be left in or rinsed out. Use once a week.
Wig lovers & Protective stylers
The Basara women are keeping the Chebe in their hair without washing it out. We all know that not everyone would like to do so. Ladies who have protective styles or wigs could easily do this. For example, you can let the Chebe in your hair for 6 days and wash/rinse it out on the 7th day in order to reapply.
